How to install games that are in an ISO format

Hello everyone! Today, I’ll show you how to install games that come in an ISO format. I’ll show you step by step how to install them, both in Windows 10 and previous versions of Windows.
Why are the Windows 10 tutorial and the tutorial for other versions of Windows different? Because Windows 10 has an in-built feature that allows users to automatically mount an ISO file by itself without needing the assistance of third party programs.

How to quickly know what version of Windows you have:
Simply hold the “Windows key” on your keyboard and press Pause Break, and something similar to this should appear:

As you can see up there, in my case, I have Windows 10 Pro

After you have checked your version of Windows, you can move on with the tutorial.

How to install games in an ISO format in Windows 10

Step 1: Extract the game you downloaded. In this example, I’m using the game “Beautiful Girl Fight School”.

Step 2: Open the folder that was was extracted from the .rar file and double click the ISO.

After you double click the ISO file / open the ISO file you will see this screen

Step 3: Double click “setup.exe” (You might not see the .exe extension, since you have to turn that on in the Windows Explorer settings, so it might just be called setup for you, but throughout the tutorial I’ll refer to it as setup.exe)
If you download a game similar to this one but the structure is different, what you have to do is usually the same. Double click the setup file, or the “application” type file.

This window will appear when you open the setup file. Usually the installers have music so keep your volume down before opening it, since they’re usually loud and might scare you

Step 4: Choose an Install Directory of your liking if you don’t like the default one.
Always click on “Copy contents of the PLAZA/Crack folder” because that is the crack. If you don’t click on it, you can always put it there manually, I’ll show you how in a bit.
After that, just click Install!

Step 5: When the installation is finished, just click Finish and you can play the game!

Step 6: Right Click on “DVD Drive (E:) [GAME NAME]” and click Eject

Step 7: After that, you can delete the game’s folder that is on your Downloads folder, and then you’re done 🙂

How to install games in an ISO format in previous versions of Windows

Step 1: Download DAEMON Tools Lite

Open this link to get DAEMON Tools Lite. Press Download, and save it somewhere on your computer.

Step 2: Install DAEMON Tools Lite.

Double click / Open the DTLiteInstaller.exe file, then click on “Free License”.

Click “Install”.

Select “Free License”.

Click on “Configure setup options…” and choose them to your liking.
Personally, I would disable “Allow DAEMON Tools Lite to send anonymous usage statistics”
They probably won’t do anything nefarious with it, but still, it feels like an invasion of privacy.

Press “Agree & Continue”

Now, be careful, because this program comes packed with spyware if you’re not careful enough. Click on the tickbox to disable the additional program that they’re trying to install. (My installer is in Portuguese in this part, but it’s the same in every language, just untick the box and press Install).

Remember to untick it!
Press Run.
You can read through the tutorial, but I’ll just skip it.

Step 3: Double click on “(E:) Empty” and go to your Downloads folder, and double click the ISO file.

After this, just follow Step 3 from the Windows 10 tutorial.

When you are finished, open DAEMON tools again, then right click on “(E:) [GAME NAME]” and click on “Unmount”

After that, you can delete the game’s folder that is on your Downloads folder, and then you’re done 🙂
